"Heliomash Corporation" (Scientific-Industrial Association of Cryogenic Plants) has more than 50 years of experience in creation and exploitation of cryogenic equipment. We invented and tested numerous systems for liquefying, storage and filling of LNG into fuel tanks and for cooling isothermal trucks. Comparing various schemes of liquefying we recommend use of detanders for equipment with capacity up to 3000 kg/hour. The liquefier must work in parallel way to the GAS Redistribution System (GRS) and must utilize less than 60% of the general gas consumption.
At present we prepared for serial production GRS based liquefier with capacity of 1000 kg per hour. Majority of the equipment blocs are installed in the open air? at a site 30 by 14 meters. Equipment which demand temperature above Zero in Centigrade is installed in worm insulated two standard size transport containers ( 6 x2,5x2.5 meters ). One of them contains technological equipment, the other for the operator ( at the distance not less than 15 meters from the main equipment). The whole liquefying complex can be carried by automobile or railway transport.
The heaviest piece of equipment - the container of technological equipment - weighs 9 tons.
The system requires 380 volt, 50 hertz, 50 kilowatt and is manned by one operator, who begins to act only at a signal of an impending break down of the system. The life of the liquefier is 20 years with periodic change of less durable spare parts. The life of the adsorbent is 8 years with its addition once in a year.
Further the article deals with a LNG fuelling system far light duty truck “GAZEL” equipped with 100 liters cryogenic fuel tank protected by 20 mm multilayer vacuum thermo insulation.
The article contains tables of tests for cryogenic tanks and other cryogenic equipment.
