Ecological,
economic and social dimensions of «Fuel
Race” An
abstract of an
interview
given
to “AGZ+AT” Journal by
Magomed Tolboyev, President
of “GT7” group of companies, Hero
of Monitoring
of Russian and foreign press
publications on the subject of alternative
motor fuels lead
readers to controversial
conclusions: there is a
definite “race
for biofuel”
but many scientists warn
that biofuel production on
a great scale is
harmful for the world
ecology. The
only
reliable way out
to
avoid increased green house effects is the
conversion of motor vehicles to
motor gas fuels. Average cost of a single
vehicle conversion
from petrol to LPG fuel is about 10-12 thousand rubles ( less
than 500 US Dollars at the time of the Interview). Such a conversion
saves up
to 40% in fuel cost. It
makes impossible
stealing of fuel by
vehicles drivers and other employees
connected with vehicles
fuelling. It makes impossible to fill vehicles
tanks with very low quality
fuel. All this lead to a prolonged
engine life and reliable
engine functioning, low expenditure on engine repairs and service.
As
this kind of
vehicles
may use as fuel both LPG and petrol it provides vehicle with reserve fuel.
Gas motor
Vehicle is also
more difficult to steal as the fuel blocking
device is attachable and it
may
be carried away by
a driver in his
pocket when he leaves his vehicle. Despite
all
these advantages of gas engine
vehicles, Russian gas
engine fuel consumption is very low in comparison with
traditional fuels
because unlike
European countries there
is no governmental
support to Auto Gas
Industry , there is no State supported program of
conversion. Though
there is much talking on this subject .
It is time to come to deeds! Probably
transportation
companies
cannot afford full scale conversion and building their own gas fuelling
stations due to lack of finance.
At the
same time economists calculated that a single station of this
kind may bring 200
thousand US Dollars
as net profit per annum! Today
there
is 30 thousand

filling equipment to
already existing
fuel stations thus
making them more profitable. As one of the largest
producers of unique
equipment for auto fuel stations “ GT7“ company is
prepared to take the
responsibility for conversion of municipal transport to LPG fuel. LPG Semi-Trailer produced by GT7 Company
